Paddling Sheerness Cooling Pond over a week ago and it was beautifully calm, letting me get a neat shot of Sheerness Generating Station. 25 minutes later a whore of a wind came up and pinned me to the shore right behind said power station. 4.5 km walk back to camp to get my truck to retrieve my board. Le sigh.
